Hi. We follow each other on Twitter. I installed TweetDeck months ago, but never got into using it because of the uglies. I know you can change the colo(u)r scheme, but at the time I had other flies buzzing in my brain, so I never did that.

I get what you are saying about Twitter’s web interface, but I keep it open in a browser tab. Because it’s always there when I need it, and my browser is generally always open, it works for me. Maybe I’m a Luddite at heart?

In any case, I’d heard about Nambu, but had not seen a screenshot. It’s so pretty I think I’ll try it.

I used to use tweetdeck, but then discovered destroy Twitter which I find more reliable and greatly prefer.

Interesting read, but sadly of no real use to me being a dreaded pc/linux user.

I have tried tweetdeck on a windows machine, and I loved all the features, but I found that posts that I could see on the web were missing, or hugely lagged in TD.

I think this has more to do with the issues twitter was having at the time, but it really put me off. Will have to take the time to find a good linux app one of these days, because if I follow any more people it will be impossible to keep track of.
