Julian Simpson is a London-based writer and director working in film, TV and radio. Recent credits include “Spooks”, “Hustle” and “New Tricks”.

At the time of writing, Julian is in post-production on a couple of episodes of “New Tricks”.

He is also writing a film adaptation of the best-selling “Sniper One” and another draft of his own movie, “Run”, which he is hoping to get off the ground later this year.

Julian is married to Jana Carpenter, actress and lead singer of “Piefinger“. They have a daughter, Edie, who is 18 months old.

This is the first time he has written about himself in the third person and he is, frankly, a little uncomfortable with it.
